  Our journey to IVF

I am 26 years old and my husband is 28. We have been married for 3 1/2 years. My husband was paralyzed during Army training in July of 1994. Due to his paralysis, he is unable to ejaculate and his sperm motility and count is VERY low. So, we knew that we would have to go through IVF before we were married.

For my first 3 IVF cycles, we traveled 5 hours for tx. I didn't have all these wonderful friends to support me and keep me informed. Boy, I was missing out on a lot. After my last failed IVF, we finally got a computer. I found such wonderful support from others with the same difficulty in getting pregnant. I also learned that my RE didn't have me set up on a very good protocol. Then, an IVF clinic opened just 20 minutes from my house. This RE is wonderful and has given me new hope!!! I can't wait to start tx in November.

We are also in the process of building a house. Hopefully it will be built before I start the Lupron and Follistim. I have a new confidence with this next IVF. ++++ thoughts to all and thanks to all for your wonderful support.
