Too, too excited,
too excited to sleep
for I'm on the path to fulfilling
a dream I hold so deep.
It's wonderful to feel so happy and glad
My heart is buzzing with joy
For it's possible the miracle of I.V.F.
will give me a precious girl or boy
This moment has come after such a long time
I don't need to justify reasons;
I just want what I hope to be mine
The "Crying Mum" that's what I'll be
with those tears you only shed
when you're deliriously happy
But still, each day feels so long
How can this be so?
Hours and minutes please grow wings
so I can feel my baby,
