Kylie:
Hey this site is great!!. My husband and I are about to start our first IVF on 1st Nov 1999.. this site has so much info and support it's been a great help.. (Australia)

Heather:
I have to admit that my husband & I are only at the beginning stage. We've only been trying for just over 1 & 1/2 yrs now and have had no procedures done (yet). However, things don't look good. It's just nice to know that we are not the only ones going through this. Wishing all much success!!

Donna:
All I can say is WOW!! what a great sight! I'm in here today becasuse a friend told me about it. I've already been in here 2 hours and will spend many more here. My husband & I have been trying for 4 yrs, 9 IUIs and will do my first IVF on Dec 3,99. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope in my heart. Good luck to fellow members on the infertility boat.

Katey:
Hi all! It is nice to know that there are other people out there that are going through the same emotions that my husband and I are. We have been trying for about 8-1/2 years. We have been through 5 IUI's and will try our first IVF next month. After reading this website, I felt like was not alone in this big ole' world. Our prayers and hopes go out to everyone having to deal with these tough issues and emotional roller coasters.

Heather:
Just had my 3rd IUI and if the next one doesn't work, we will be going to IVF. I wanted to try and find others in the same situation

Kim:
I am preparing to do my 1st in-vitro in Jan. or Feb. 2000. It is so great to have a site to go to and get prepared for what may come. If you have more info, I would appreciate it. Thank You!

Dawn (UK):
It's so good to find another website like this, I have been visiting inciid, (which is also excellent).I've done 3 IVF's and 1 FET,all failed. I have just started my next IVF,and I'm not sure how I really feel.Sometimes it's just all too much, but what can I do?...Keep trying and smiling :o). Good luck to you all out there. Theres more of us than you think!!!

maryc:
My sister & I have had our tubes tide(burned). We are both now remarried and are looking into the possibility of having more children. Price & procedure are the things that i am looking into.

Christine + Eddie:
Just happen to come across this site last night(sun.10-25). Spent some time looking around and its really good to see that there are alot of us who are going through the same emotional rollercoaster. Will without a doubt be visiting this site quite often. thanks chris + ed

[England]:
The site has been a real find ! I have just completed my first IVF/ICSI cycle and will find out tomorrow if it has worked. I had not counted on how much stress this would cause, nor how strange I would feel [physically and emotionally] but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end, even if it does not work this time. One day I will look back on all this.....

melissa milosevic:
great site, my husband and i are proud parents of i.v.f. twins. they are 11 months old, a boy and girl.

Siobhan:
Hi everyone, Just found this site today. Looks great, there is a lot of info that would have been useful to us on our first ICSI cyle. We have taken a year out and are hoping to undergo our second ICSI cycle in February 2000. We are from Ireland and we would be interested to hear from anyone doing ICSI/IVF in the same country. The best of luck to everyone.

Siobhan:

Cheryl:
Hi....just had my transfer yesterday (this is our 2nd cycle)....thinking positive thoughts as I browse through this great web site!!!!

Colleen:
I've had 5 cycles, 3 thru to egg pick up and transfer. Earlier this year I developed Type 1 Diabetes - I'm looking forward to starting a new cycle once all this is sorted out.

Andrea:
I've just started looking through the site, but it looks great. I'm having my second FET tomorrow and hope that it goes well (great would be better). Good luck to everyone trying.

Tracy:
I've been to a couple other similar websites, but this (so far) is the best. It's so user-friendly. I've gone through 2 IVF/ICSI cycles & 2 FET cycles. All cycles were negative, except the last FET cycle is pending - I'm trying so hard to be hopeful !! Good Luck to everyone going through this :O)

Amy:
Great sight! Get ready to start our first round of IVF in Nov. This sight has really helped me prepare both emotionally and physically.

melissa:
Someone I met at a support group told me about this site. It has been a true lifesaver!! Just knowing that others out there have been there and understand...I have gone through IVF a total of 4 times. First two cycles were cancelled due to poor response and second two were ZIFT but negative results. I'm now gearing up for attempt # 3 (or 5 depending how you look at it), which will be ICSI with blast. transfer. I am hoping and hoping and praying and praying. Love, hugs, and ++++++++ thoughts to everyone out there! And thanks, Brenda for a fantastic site.

Katie (London, England):
I have just recently had a failed IVF attempt. On the day I found out, I read some of the stories posted on this web site, even through my tears I found great solace from reading other peoples experiences.......I am determined to keep trying. I start my 2nd attempt in a few weeks. Good luck to everyone out there!!

Tania:
We just recieved our IVF Friends newsletter with this website mentioned in it from a lady who wrote to tell us Aussies about it. I wished I had have know of such a place to come to when we wre on treatment. Treatment for me, was like going to hell and back. But after 3 and 1/2 years of investigating and one cycle of IVF we gave birth to our first son almost 14 weeks ago. He is such a gift and not one day goes by without us telling him so. Good luck to everyone out there , my prayers and thought are sincerely going out to you!

Mel:
I was just gathering information about IVF. A nice site with a lot Canadian information which is very helpful. I'm currently on my second try with 100mgClomid/IUI at Foothills Regional Fertility Clinic in Calgary. ++++ thoughts to everyone.

Alisa:
This site has been a wealth of information, we are at the investigative stage. We have our consultation with the clinic Nov. 8. We are looking to IVF due to a tubal with a low chance of being reversed. I would also like to avoid excess surgery because I have to deliver by c-section as it is. We are excited to embark on this journey to complete our family. Best of luck to all and thank you for sharing this intimate part of your lives.

Evelyn:
I am so glad I found this site. I am 35 and just started my first cycle. I am using Synarel nasal spray--anyone else? Nervous but glad to find so many going through the same thing. Thank you.

Darlene :
My best friend (another IVF'er) told me about this site today. I've read some of the stories and felt the same emotions that, I'm sure, all of you are feeling - happiness, sadness, anger, hope, fear, etc. I've been going thru fertility treatment for almost 2 years now and I've just started my 3rd attempt. This will be my first FET with AZH and I'm hopeful that this will be my last cycle. Thanks, Cheryl, for letting me know about this site. I'll be spending a lot of time here.

Genevieve TW:
Enjoying reading the website as it does give me the support to go for IVF. Will be trying my first IVF in November 99 and I am now on Stage One, the suppression stage where I am given Gynera.

Steve & Kathy:
Glad to have found this page!!! Really helped seeing other people going through what we are. Tried 2 IVF attempts, First-low quality eggs, second she got pregnant and lost it at 6 weeks. We were heart broken(just happened). We have saved up to try again. We hope third time is the charm. We know how hard and disappointing it is, but just keep trying if you can. Its a long journey but a wonderfull goal to achieve. Good luck to you all. Steve & Kathy from Alaska.

Melinda:
I was feeling pretty lonely until I happened across this site. Tomorrow (10/15) we transfer our embryo's. This is our 3rd and final attempt. I'm having a little problem with the positive thinking tonight. Guess what? I'm an RN at an OB/GYN office, ha ha ha, I get to see 20 pregnant women a day! I can't even tell you how much they complain. What I wouldn't do to suffer morning sickness, heartburn, and backaches! Think I need a career change?:) This has been a long, hard road, but I would do all 4 years of this again if it ended with a big belly! All of you are in my prayers. Come on modern technology!! We're waiting and very willing! Good luck to everyone! Hope to see you in my office one day for your 1st OB appt. xoxoxo

Linda:
My husband and I just lost IVF twins at 10 weeks. So sad, but we're determined to try again. The doctor believes it may be chromosomal problems since we've have had a tough time getting good eggs (I'm 38). This was our first full IVF cycle - tried in May but didn't have enough eggs. The second was touch and go but we transferred three embryos and two implanted. We had ICSI using my husband's frozen sperm since he's fighting cancer. Trying to keep my spirits up for the next go-round, hopefully in January. Your site looks like it will be helpful (I came to the guest- book first but looking forward to exploring). Good luck to everyone!

Cherylynn :
Hi all, just read thru all of the messages and was inspired by the words my fellow IVFers. Just about to start my 4th attempt at IVF/ICSI and AZH. I'm 29 and going thru this due to a blocked tubes Been going thru this about a year now and still hopeful. Good Luck to all.....

Sharon:
After 4 years and 6 attempts we are now 13 weeks pregnant. It is worth the wait, stress, anger and every other emotion felt. Keep hoping and praying.

Beth A:
Thank you for this wounderfull site. Keep +++++ thoughts ladies;)!!!!

Denise:
Hello: I'm about to complete my third IVF. I had the retrieval yesterday 10/11 and will have the transfer on Friday 10/15. I'm nervous yet excited. They say third times a charm. This will be my last IVF. I can't put my body through this again. I have extra medicine and would love to get rid of it. If anyone is interested please contact me at my e-mail address.

tracy:
this site is invaluable for information and emotional support. thanks

Susan (Scotland,UK):

Terri:
Great sight!

Lorraine:
I was so thrilled to find this site, and can't express in words what it has done for me. I am a Canadian, and now have the ability to talk with other Canadian's, which is extremely helpful. All the sites are informative and supportive, thank you so very much. You have done a fantastice thing here.

Darlene Hazzard:

Vickee:
So thrilled to have found this site! I am 46, Day 3 FSH of 15, trying to conceive after natural conception which resulted in miscarriage last year at 11 weeks :o{ . Now working with an RE, advised to use donor eggs. Yikes! Expensive, plus they do not let you meet the donor. Good luck to all of us on the Site! ++++ thoughts to all of us!

Lori:
I just found this site and i am excited about it. I have 8yrs of infertility behind me. i have don 3 cycles of iui. And 3 cycles of ivf. I am about to start my first fet this upcoming month.

Beverly:
I just found out I would not be able to conceive naturally. I'm still a little upset and depressed. My doctor has recommended IVF. I'm not really sure how successful this is.

anne:
I just completed my first ivf cycle ( the works ICSI and ZIFT). I had my blood drawn today for my beta and progesterone. My anxiety had me surfing the web when i stumbled across this site. It gives me great comfort to read messages from other people.

DeAnne:
This site has been a great resource and blessing for me. Since I do not know anyone else going through this, it is always comforting to know that when I don't know what to do next, I can come to this site and find some answers and or comfort knowing that I am not alone.

Karen (England):
I am just beginning IVF and have recently found this page. After reading almost everything on it, I feel more positive and focused about the treatment. My Sister-In-Law has been on IVF and now has 3 children, the first two through IVF - Stay positive everyone, 'It'll happen'- just like everyone tells you!!!!!!!

Liza:

We are starting our first IVF cycle this month - Oct.99. We are doing IVF/ICSI because of a tubal 9 yrs ago and low SA makes reversal impossible. I am so scared. Reading the letters of others helps alot. Thanks for being here! CC

esma:
Glad to be apart of this sight.Especially to encourage those who need to be encourage.May God Bless you and show you your miracles to come

Tara:
I must say that I am new to your site. I am scheduled to start my 2 months of medication Oct. 14-16 1999. I must say that I am really nervous, this being my first attempt at IVF. I was glad to see your site, it answered a lot of questions for me. Good Luck Everybody!

Carla:
This site has been a BIG source of support through my 1st IVF treatment and I will continue to watch it through the next 2 cycles. Thanks Brenda!

Rosemary:
This is a great site. I enjoy reading the stories and remember the same feelings I had with our long struggle with infertility. After years(18) of hoping, it saddened me to have to finally stop our treatments. We are fortunate enough to have a 12 year old son that we adopted as a newborn but 7 IVF attempts, as well as a few IUI and DI's gave us hope of giving our son a sibling. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you dealing with infertility.

Joanne Nakayama:
I'm looking for a IVF facility here is So. Calif.

Beth :
Thank you so much for this site. I, like a lot of others, came upon this by accident. I didn't know that anything like this existed. Although I'm sorry that any woman has to go through this, knowing that there is support out there makes it a little more bearable.

from e. africa:
Thank you so much Brenda and all of you. This page is a very big support. I though i was alone in this struggle but stories from this site are really encouraging and please keep it up. thanks a lot Brenda for creating this page.

Laurie :
Brenda, Thank you so much for this beautiful site. My husband and I just completed our second cycle of IVF and are in the dreaded 2 week waiting period. We came across this by accident. We are glad to see this type of support for couples. Thanks again! Many +++++ prayers to everyone.

kim:

Jo Preston:
Hi I found this site by accident, how lucky I was. It's a briiliant place to surf to, and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one in the world going through this....I'm due to start my nasal spray's on October 14 99 and this is mine and my husbands first attept. I know that I will be visiting here often over the next few weeks, months or even years...not that long I hope ! Keep up the good work

Janet:
Brenda, I found out about your site from a total stranger. I was at the lab giving blood to find out my E2 levels. A woman and I started talking and it so happend she was seeing the same doctor I was and was at the lab to take her pg test. She told me about this site and I LOVE IT! I have a very good friend in Hawaii going through IVF and told her about the site. She is spending her weekend reading everything on the site. I am having a FET tomorrow (9/26/99)and this site has helped me through this long week. I am HOPING that I can add a positive update when I take my pg test on 10/7. Thanks Again for a WONDERFUL SITE. Janet

Sandy:
I found this sight today and it is great! I wish there would have been something like this about four years ago when I was going through a really hard time when a good friend of mine got pregnant. Hopefully in a few months we will be going through IVF for a third time. It is encouraging to hear other's going through the same thing as myself. Dealing with infertility you feel so alone and no one really understands.

Jane:
Wonderful site! I just discovered it last week and have been back numerous times. I expecially appreciate the Canadian information. Definitely the most concise, up-to-date Canadian info I've been able to find. Will definitely recommend site to others. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Jane

SJEAN:
Hi...After dealing with Unexplained Infertility for the past several years...I have now doing the IVF thing. I done my transfer three days ago and now in the waiting game. Any others out there in the same waiting game now?

Sandra:
Hi, this will be my second try with IVF. I am very nervous, to be exact I am in the waiting stage did the transferon saturday, sept.18 '99 and today is sept.21 '99. I don't know what to do. The first time I didn't really take it easy, but this time I did. Will keep you posted for next weeks results>> Sandra

Traci:
I have been browsing different sites over the past few months. Just found this one this week. Definitely feel more at home here. My husband and I have been TTC #1 for almost 3 years, 2 years with ART. We're starting our first IVF cycle now (after 2 years of lots of meds and IUI's) and am looking forward to talking to others who are going through at the same time. Good luck to all of you! Traci

Pamela:
Thank you for providing a place where people can go and not feel alone. After 8 years of trying to conceive (11 months on clomid, 5 iui attempts on purgon) it is nice to actually see that i'm not alone. Your stories have both been informative as well as encouraging. We have finally decided to try ivf w/icsi and i am so confused my head is spinning. I have my consultation with Vancouver (genesis) Sept 24/99 and hope this will clear up alot of my question. Maybe there is one that someone could help me out with now....we have been accepted to both Vancouver and Calgary...Vancouver would be much quicker (we could probably start our first cycle in October) but i have heard that Calgary has a much greater success rate. Do i go to vancouver or wait the 8 months to get into Calgary? Once again thank you for your site.

Jackie (Australia):
Dear Brenda and all those who have contributed to ivfConnections. Like alot of you, I stumbled upon this site in the hope of finding out more about ivf, not just medical information (which is very important) but real stories about people who have lived and survived it. Thank you so much for sharing yourselves and giving out your love, support and inspiration to others!

Fat mel:
Scince no one would have me due to my physical aapearance i have found that IVF donor was the only way i could have a child to love as much as i love my self.

Debbie:
Brenda, You are truly a gift from God. I just found this website today and have spent several hours reading the stories.(And Crying My Eyes Out) I am waiting on the results of my second IVF. So you think I'm PG? Na, probably just the drugs. This site is an enormous help. Sharing infor and knowing others are felling the same. Thanks!

Barb:
Hi everyone - I came across this web sight trying to investigate more on if. I have spent most of the day reading the stories in this website and have found that I am not alone. I just went through my first ivf/icsi cycle, and was not successful. I thought I was prepared for what ever the results would be, but when I found out it was not successful - I lost it. I am getting ready for cycle 2. Reading through this website has helped me feel more positive about going through everything again. Thank you so much. I Look forward to being part of this website.

Pete & Jackie:
We're sending you all our best wishes. We were so fortunate in being successful first time, although we did lose one of our babies at 11 weeks. We have a beautiful daughter who keeps us on the go all day long.

Amy :
I am 26 years and have 1 daughter (4 yrs) through my 1st Clomid cycle. TTC #2 for 3 years with 7 Clomid cycles and now I am setting up for IVF. That should take place the 1st week in Sept. I am so nervous!! Anyone due to do IVF around that time?

Too bad I've found the site after all our IVF attempts!! I am now 21 weeks PG with twins and have a 2 and 1/2 year old daughter from the same clinic !! This site is something I missed terribly when we were going through all the cycles (7 in total) and will be sure to pass this address on to friends I know who are just beginning the intense journey!

staci:
My husband and i have attempted i.v.f. once before about 3 years ago. We were unsuccesfull. We are in the process of another attempt. My tubes are blocked because of scar tissue. There are days that i feel like such a failure. Good luck to you all. I pray you all have your little dreams come true.

Stephanie:
My first two IVF attempts were successful. I have to beautiful daughters. My second two attempts were unsuccessful but I have some frozen embryos which I hope to have put back August cycle. Anyone had results from frozen embryos? I wish anyone going through IVF all the best of luck. My two miracles are living healthy proof that it does work. Don't give up!

Carolyn:
My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for the past four years. We have been on the IVF program for a little over one year and have had big ups and downs. It's really great to know that you aren't alone in what can seem like an extemely lonely and hard time for couples to face. Hang in there guys! We certainly will be.

Lorna:
I am a student studying the use of IVF and am finding this site very helpful in the course of my investigation.

Suzanne in TX:
We have been thru 9 clomid cycles, 6 iui cycles, 5 years of waiting, and are about to embark on the 1st IVF cycle. Your website has helped. Wish us luck y'all.

Ronda in the U.K:
I was looking for all info on fertility, we are going to start IVF soon and I will be looking for a buddie. A TV company is soon to do a piece on infertility and the Internet, and I would recomend you site always. THANKYOU

Linda:
THIS SITE IS GREAT. HAVE JUST FINISHED AN UNSUCCESSUL IVF CYCLE. HISTORY IS LONG TERM UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY WITH CLOMID AND AN ECTOPIC THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE!! REMEMBER TO KEEP THINKING HAPPY, POSITIVE THOUGHTS.

Bobbie Guglielmo:
Nice place! I was a SM and going for #2. I will check back when I start the process again. Thanks for making this available to all.

Bong:
Greetings from Brunei. Great site. Wished such a site like yours was there when my wife and I started planning for a baby in 1984. It would have made a big difference to the loneliness and pain we faced then. In almost 14 years of baby chase which included 3 ectocpic pregnancies and 6 IVF attempts we are extremely fortunate to have two wonderful IVF children 9 years apart. If it worked for us it can hopefully work for others. The IVF route for all of us here still means having to endure a very lonely journey. Sites like yours will go a long way to helping people in a similar dilemma.

jean s:
great site, Ivf really works, after two years of hell we finally have our miracle baby, on 2/12/99. remeber miracles do happen
