• My IVF Cycle Failed - What Went Wrong?

Recently, Dr. Geoffrey Sher of the Sher Institutes for Reproductive Medicine (SIRM) joined us for a discussion with Carolyn Savage, author of Inconceivable: A Medical Mistake, the Baby We Couldn't Keep, and Our Choice to Deliver the Ultimate Gift. Dr. Sher discussed the complexities of Carolyn's care as an older mother and someone who required the use of a gestational carrier (surrogate). Dr. Sher also took time to answer questions from the audience, including issues about unexplained infertility and failed cycles.

On August 2nd, Dr. Sher is conducting a live video presentation focusing exclusively on what can and does go wrong when IVF cycles fail. The presentation will include information about ovarian stimulation, egg and embryo quality, implantation issues and various other factors that influence a cycle.

Following his presentation, Dr. Sher will open up the talk for a live Q&A session with the audience. Dr. Sher is known for his love of interacting with patients and his tenacity in answering questions about IVF; this presentation and Q&A is a great chance to have your concerns addressed, whether or not you are a patient at SIRM.
