• Zha Zha Gabor and Prince Frederic von Anhalt Looking for a Gestational Carrier

Prince Frederic von Anhalt and Zha Zha Gabor are ready to have a baby.
Twenty five years after they first married.
      He's 67.
      She's 94.

Zha Zha has one daughter, Francesca Hilton. Upon hearing von Anhalt's news Hilton, age 63, commented, "That's just weird."

Von Anhalt told CNN he is working with Dr. Mark Surrey of the Southern California Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills (source: CNN), and has already completed all of his pre-cycle bloodwork and semen analysis. The father-to-be is said to be actively researching egg donors. The National Ledger reports that "hundreds of women" have contacted von Anhalt to inquire about becoming his gestational carrier (surrogate).

Why now? "I'm doing it and we're going to have a baby," von Anhalt told Joy Behar of CNN. When the couple was first married they played polo together, and according to von Anhalt, "My wife told me ever so often ... she always wanted a little polo player." Lamenting that their lives in the fast lane caused them to talk about children but never have them, von Anhalt said it took Zha Zha's health decline and leg amputation to bring them back to the idea of having a baby.

Von Anhalt recounted a conversation with his wife from last Fall. Zha Zha reminisced, "Remember, we always wanted to have a baby but now it's too late."

"I told her maybe it's not too late. Let me see what I can do."
