Information posted by the member is self-editable for 30 minutes after the initial publishing time. Other edits must be done through a moderator or administrator. This policy is in place to ensure that the time-order of information remains intact, which minimizes opportunities for baiting, flaming or spreading misinformation. Accounts may not be deleted; however they can be disabled at the request of the user.
Members can and do publish information about their health and medical history, however they remain sole proprietor of all personal health and medical information. Members may remain anonymous if they wish to do so; however it is important to understand that posting any information about yourself - even medical information - may cause your identity to become public. Please keep this in mind before posting personal information on IVFConnections.
The only health information of users stored on the site is what is provided by the user themselves in the course of collaborative dialogue. There are no separate databases of health information. Some health information posted may be used for IVFConnections' data analysis needs; however this information is not sold or given to any other parties.
Users of IVFConnections may remain anonymous. We require a real email address to be used for registration in order that we may validate your registration. We do not require any other identifiable information, and members should think carefully about their own privacy needs before registering and customizing their member profiles.
